Red Hawk Resort Casino presents two nights of live music this weekend with a night of 60’s tunes followed by a type of top 40 hits. It starts with the 60’s Summer of Love band on Friday night, followed by the return of Power Play on Saturday night at the casino stage bar.
On Saturday, Lance Michael Cornwell is sure to get the boots moving on the dance floor as brings his unique country sound to the stage. Cornwell and his band have been known to entertain throughout the state, including a handful of pro rodeo events across the region and previously opening for some of Nashville’s biggest names. Live music begins at 8 p.m. on Friday and continues until midnight.
On Saturday, the sounds of country continue as Gunpowder & Lace- A Tribute to Real Country Music takes the Red Hawk stage. Gun Powder and Lace is a premiere country tribute band in Northern California. The band performs country music hits from the last four decades and compiled of musicians with over 30 years of live performance experience each.
Blending three part vocal harmonies, Nashville quality pedal steel and electric guitars, Honky Tonk piano and a tight three piece rhythm section, this collection of seasoned professional musicians will keep the party alive and guests dancing and singing along to the best selection of hits to ever come out of Nashville.
