The final weekend before Halloween is here, and Historic Folsom’s Powerhouse Pub is ready to celebrate in style. The venue is decked out for the season, offering a packed lineup of live music, dance parties, and costume contests that promise a hauntingly good time. From tribute bands to high-energy rock, there’s something for everyone at Powerhouse this weekend.

The fun kicks off on Friday, October 25, with an early evening show featuring Halfway Inn at 7 p.m. This energetic tribute band celebrates iconic rock acts from across the decades and promises to bring a party vibe to start the weekend right. Later that night, the music continues with a Halloween costume party headlined by Adam Aldama & The Aces, starting at 10 p.m.

Adam Aldama

Known for their dynamic performances and musical versatility, the five-piece band plays themed sets, including tributes like The Red Corvettes honoring Prince, Finesse covering Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson, and Y2K Live featuring hits from the 2000s. Led by Adam Aldama on vocals, with Veronica Ballejos, Brett Sackett, Keywan Ryland, and Jimmy O’Shea rounding out the lineup, the band delivers a show full of nostalgia and dancefloor favorites to keep the energy high all night long.

The celebration continues on Saturday, October 26, with an afternoon dance party at 3 p.m. featuring Petty Jack Flashand Mere Mortals. Petty Jack Flash specializes in hit songs by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the Rolling Stones, making it a perfect soundtrack for the afternoon festivities. Guests can also enjoy a potluck and a Halloween costume contest to add to the fun.

Saturday night wraps up the weekend with a bang, as Spazmatics take the stage at 10 p.m. for a lively Halloween bash. Known for their 80s-themed performances and nerdy charm, the Spazmatics bring humor and musicianship to every show. According to their quirky backstory, the band formed after a physics professor lost a debate over String Theory and was forced to perform Thomas Dolby’s “She Blinded Me With Science” during a halftime show. The night will also feature a $1,000 costume contest, making it the perfect event for those looking to show off their Halloween creativity.

Full event details and tickets are available at www.powerhousepub.com. All events are 21 and over, and Powerhouse Pub is located at 614 Sutter Street in Folsom. Get your costumes ready, gather your friends, and head to Powerhouse for a weekend of music, dancing, and Halloween fun!
