The Folsom Lake College Visual Art Department invites the community to experience the culmination of a year’s worth of artistic exploration and mastery at the Folsom Lake College Annual Student Art Show opening later this week.

Delve into a captivating array of student artwork spanning an eclectic spectrum of mediums, including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, photography, metal arts, and digital creations, according to a press release from Folsom Lake College.

From traditional to avant-garde, realism to abstraction, witness the depth and breadth of creativity nurtured within our program. This exhibition not only highlights the individual talents of our students but also reflects the robust foundation instilled in each artist as they navigate their visual arts journey at Folsom Lake College. Join us in celebrating the extraordinary achievements of our students and the enduring legacy of artistic excellence at FLC.

The exhibit opens this Friday, March 22, and will kick off with a reception from 5-7 p.m. Thereafter, the exhibit will remain on display through May 5. The gallery is located immediately to the left of the front entrance of the Harris Center for the Arts.

The Bank of America Gallery hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. during the remainder of the Spring semester. The gallery is also open one hour before and during intermission of performances in Stage One at the Harris Center or by appointment by emailing FLC Art Professor Marisa Sayago at sayagom@flc.losrios.edu.

Admission is free, and daily parking permits cost $2 and can be purchased from designated kiosks. For more information on Harris Center for the Arts and the Bank of America Gallery, please visit www.harriscenter.net.
