Popular Northern California band set to light up Zittel Family Amphitheater for Summer Concert Twilight Series

Get ready to dance the night away as Apple Z takes the stage this Thursday, July 24, at Historic Folsom’s Summer Twilight Concert Series. The free outdoor concert runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Zittel Family Amphitheater and promises to be one of the most energetic shows of the summer.

Hailed as an “electrifying powerhouse,” Apple Z is one of Northern California’s most popular dance bands, known for delivering high-energy rock-and-roll performances infused with pop, funk, and Top 40 flair. Based out of Sacramento, the band has built a strong following for their explosive live shows that blend classic rock favorites with current hits in nonstop, crowd-pleasing mashups.

Whether covering the Rolling Stones and The Beatles or mixing it up with U2, The Police, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, and today’s top chartbusters, Apple Z knows how to keep a crowd moving. Every member of the band brings award-winning talent and concert-level showmanship, making their performances feel like full-scale music festivals wrapped into a single unforgettable evening.

The Summer Twilight Concert Series has already delivered a stellar lineup this season with standout shows by Mumbo Gumbo, Jessica Malone, AKAlive Band, and others. With temperatures on the rise this week, Apple Z is expected to raise it even higher, turning Historic Folsom into the ultimate summer dance floor.

As always, admission is free, and guests are encouraged to bring low back lawn chairs or picnic blankets to enjoy the concert from the amphitheater’s grassy space. Beer and wine will be available for purchase on site, and the Historic District’s many restaurants and shops provide the perfect way to round out your night.

Presented by the Folsom Historic District Association, the Summer Twilight Concert Series continues every Thursday through August 28. After Apple Z, the season continues with Wayside on July 31, followed by August performances from Sky Kings (August 7), Tom Rigney and Flambeau (August 14), Ryan Hernandez Band (August 21), and a summer finale with the Ariel Jean Band (August 28).

Free parking is available in the Historic District Parking Garage at 905 Leidesdorff Street, just steps from the venue.
