FOLSOM — The music of the Bee Gees will return to life Saturday night when Scott Thomas Productions presents “You Should Be Dancing: The Bee Gees Tribute” at the Harris Center for the Arts, bringing an evening filled with disco-era favorites, soaring harmonies and some of the most recognizable songs in pop music history.

Presented by Scott Thomas Productions, the performance is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harris Center for the Arts. The touring production has earned a reputation as one of North America’s premier Bee Gees tribute experiences, delivering a high-energy show that faithfully recreates the sound, style and excitement of the legendary trio.

Known for its polished musicianship, visual production and faithful recreation of the Bee Gees’ signature harmonies, You Should Be Dancing has built a national following by celebrating the music of Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb while capturing the excitement of the group’s legendary live performances. Audiences can expect to hear many of the songs that helped define the Bee Gees’ remarkable career, including “Stayin’ Alive,” “You Should Be Dancing,” “Night Fever,” “More Than A Woman” and “How Deep Is Your Love.” The production also highlights the Bee Gees’ extensive songwriting catalog, showcasing music they wrote for other artists throughout their career.

Beyond their own chart-topping hits, the Bee Gees became some of the most successful songwriters in modern music history, crafting songs recorded by artists including Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, Frankie Valli, Barbara Streisand and younger brother Andy Gibb. The tribute production explores those connections while celebrating the trio’s extraordinary impact on pop music across multiple decades.

The show also reaches beyond the disco era that made the Bee Gees international superstars. Fans will hear selections from the group’s earlier years, including favorites such as “To Love Somebody,” “Massachusetts” and “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart,” highlighting the depth and versatility of a catalog that spans more than four decades.

Performers behind You Should Be Dancing have appeared on major television networks including ABC, CBS and The CW while building a resume that includes performances on some of the nation’s largest stages. The production has shared lineups with artists such as America, The Beach Boys, Chicago, Daryl Hall, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Smokey Robinson. Members of the group have also performed alongside Yvonne Elliman and opened shows for members of Cheap Trick, Def Leppard and Guns N’ Roses.

For Harris Center audiences, the performance offers an opportunity to experience the music that helped define the soundtrack of the 1970s while introducing newer generations to songs that continue to resonate decades after their release. From soaring harmonies and dance-floor anthems to heartfelt ballads, the Bee Gees’ music remains among the most recognizable and enduring in popular music history.
