Popular Bob Seger, Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute act opens 13 weeks of free summer music at the Zittel Family Amphitheater
The sounds of Bob Seger and Creedence Clearwater Revival are set to come together in Historic Folsom this Thursday night as CCseger officially opens the 2026 Twilight Concert Series at the Zittel Family Amphitheater.
Presented by Bernau Development Corporation in partnership with the Folsom Historic District Association, Thursday’s performance launches the popular 13-week summer concert series that has become one of Folsom’s most anticipated seasonal traditions. Over the next three months, thousands of residents and visitors will gather in the Historic District each Thursday evening for free live music, dancing and community celebrations under the stars.
For the opening night of the series, CCseger brings together the music of two legendary American rock acts in one high-energy performance. The six-piece tribute band has built a strong following for recreating the iconic sounds of Bob Seger and Creedence Clearwater Revival, delivering a show packed with classic rock favorites that continue to resonate with audiences of all ages.
Known for their sonic fidelity and engaging stage presence, the group offers what many fans consider two tribute bands in one performance. The show takes audiences on a journey through decades of rock-and-roll history, blending Seger’s arena-rock anthems with the swamp-rock classics that helped make Creedence Clearwater Revival one of the most influential bands of its era.
From singalong favorites and road-trip staples to dance-floor classics, the band’s setlist is designed to capture the spirit and energy that made both artists household names. Whether audiences grew up listening to Seger and CCR on vinyl records or discovered their music through classic-rock radio, Thursday’s performance promises an evening filled with recognizable hits and plenty of nostalgia.

The band’s reputation has earned praise throughout Northern California and beyond.
“Tribute bands are everywhere these days, it’s rare that you find a good one and even rarer to find two truly great tribute bands in one,” Sacramento radio personality Doug Thomas of 96.9 The Eagle KSEG-FM said in a previous review of the band. “But that’s what you get with the CC Seger Night Moves/Creedence Classic Revival combo. Featuring top notch musicians and two world class singers, your ears are in for a treat.”
The group has also been recognized in the past as California’s Best Rock Band, further cementing its reputation as one of the region’s premier tribute acts.
While Thursday’s spotlight belongs to CCseger, the performance also marks the return of a summer tradition that has become synonymous with Historic Folsom. On concert nights, the district comes alive as visitors arrive early to dine at local restaurants, browse shops along Sutter Street and gather with friends and family before settling in at the amphitheater.
Located in the heart of the Historic District, the Zittel Family Amphitheater provides a unique outdoor setting where music, community and summer evenings come together. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and arrive early to secure a spot on the lawn.
The music continues throughout the summer following Thursday’s opener. Sugar High Band takes the stage June 11 with an energetic mix of dance favorites and crowd-pleasing hits. Invisible Son – Police Tribute follows June 18, bringing the music of Sting and The Police to Historic Folsom before Wayward Buffalo closes out June on June 25 with its blend of Americana, folk, country and roots rock.
July’s lineup includes Steelin’ Dan on July 2, Lyric Michelle Band on July 9, Hipper than Hip on July 16, AKAlive Band on July 23 and LVVS on July 30. The series continues in August with Dunsbar Road, Wayside Band and Daze on the Green before concluding Aug. 27 with Adam Aldama & The Aces.
