EL DORADO HILLS – The enchanting world of Neverland is set to come alive as The John Adams Academy – El Dorado Hills Drama Department prepares to stage the timeless classic “Peter Pan” beginning this week.
Based on the play by Sir J.M. Barrie, the high-flying Tony Award-winning musical has captured hearts around the globe for six decades. Now, audiences will have the chance to embark on a magical journey as the show produced by Sunny Mitchell takes center stage at the academy’s new performing arts space.
Featuring beloved characters such as Peter, Wendy, Michael, John, Captain Hook, Tiger Lily, and more, the production promises an unforgettable adventure for audiences of all ages. The show will open Wednesday April 10 and run through April 14. The show features originally choreography adapted by Jerome Robbins; music by Morris “Moose” Charlap; Lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, with additional lyrics and music by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Jule Styne.
The production will take place at the Ronald Reagan Performing Arts Center, located at 1104 Industrial Blvd., El Dorado Hills. Tickets, priced between $12 and $20, are selling quickly and can be purchased through the academy’s website by CLICKING HERE.
