Spring is here, just in time for Historic Folsom’s 55the annual Historic Folsom Spring Arts and Crafts Fair, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Sunday, April 28.
At more than half a century of great success, this juried craft fair fill featue some 200 artisan crafters, live entertainment, donation-based face painters, food trucks and more. Its also a great opportunity to enjoy the Folsom Historic District brick-and-mortar merchants and restaurateurs, which are always one of the best places to find those unique, quality, handmade items year round.
The event takes place on four blocks of Historic Sutter Street and the public plaza area.
This event draws thousands year after year to Folsom’s Historic District. Limited will be available in the parking garage at 905 Leidesdorff Street and the nearby by Baker lot for a $5.00 cash donation to cover additional staffing costs for the event.
The parking garage spaces routinely fill up early. Remember, in the past many took light rail to the event but this year, SacRT’s Gold Line’s final stop closest to Folsom is near Natoma Station outlets. Organizers are reminded visitors of the limited parking and suggest carpooling or using rideshare services when possible. The Historic Folsom Shuttle will be in operation within the district as well.
