The Folsom Hotel welcomes a pair of special guests this Thursday evening on the stage of its venue in Historic Folsom. Kristen Brown and Jordan Rainer, both former contestants of NBC’s The Voice, have joined forces to bring an evening of live music to the stage of the Historic Folsom venue.
Established in 1885, The Folsom Hotel is located in the heart of the Folsom Historic District. The Folsom Hotel serves Sutter Smokehouse Bar-B-Q, craft beers & specialty cocktails. The Folsom venue is known for hosting a variety of live music and DJ music on a regular basis.
Both Brown and Rainer were amongst then contestants during season 24 of The Voice. Brown, a resident of nearby Roseville, competed under coaches Gwen Stefani and then John Legend prior to exiting the show just prior live run competitions. Since her time on The Voice has been performing live locally and afar while working on her upcoming self-produced album. She has opened for top country performers such as Morgan Wallen Rascal Flatts and others. In recent months she has performed the National Anthem at Levi’s Stadium and Oracle Park in the Bay Area. Prior to the voice, Brown was a member of the local all girl band Auburn Road before she became a solo country artist two years ago and became a vocal instructor.
Rainer competed in the same season of The Voice, as a member of Reba McIntire’s team. Rainer departed the show during the which cut the field of top 9 contestants to the top 5. The Nashville singer-songwriter has opened for the Eli Young Band, Hunter Hayes, Craig Morgan and Luke Combs. She has also written for former Voice winner Sundance Head, who has performed her music at the Grand Ole Opry and sent her single to No. 1 on the charts in Texas. In March of this year she announced her Straight Shot Tour.
Doors open for the concert at 7:00 p.m. for Thursday’s show which begins at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15 and can be purchased in advance online at. The event is an all ages show and more information can be found at www.folsomhotelsaloon.com
