Willamette Wineworks continues its weekly live music series Saturday night, May 25 with local resident and Nashville Music Row recording artist Cynthia Renee on stage at the Historic Folsom venue that offers a relaxing atmosphere along with fine wines and small plates to enjoy.
The Willamette Wineworks appearance is the second for Renee and is part of a busy summer for the Twelve Seventeen/SSM Nashville Records signed artist. That schedule that includes a number of local shows across the region, as well as a return to Nashville in a week where she is scheduled to participate in the 2024 CMA Fest that draws country music’s biggest stars and rising stars over several days at Music City Center in the heart of music city. Saturday night, Renee will be joined for the Willamette performance by longtime guitarist Jeff Brzozowski, who is also a member of her five piece band many are familiar with.
Renee has performed at several high profile events across the region, including KNCI Radio’s Country in the Park which hosted other country artists such as Lady A and Maddie and Tae. Last summer, she opened for multi-platinum selling artist Uncle Kracker in Santa Barbara, as well as Broken Bow Records Artist Chase Bryant in Reno.
Renee has also performed at The Harris Center for the Arts, numerous casino and entertainment venues, the California State Fair, El Dorado County Fair, San Joaquin County Fair, Gold Country Fair. Earlier this year she was one of 10 singer-songwriters selected nationally to perform in the “New York Encounter” showcase at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City this coming weekend.
“This past year I have done a great deal of traveling to record and different shows,” said Renee. “It’s always exciting to play back close to home and this is such a great opportunity to play at Willamette’s beautiful venue in Historic Folsom. Jeff and I hope to see many join us for their date night this Saturday!”
Renee and Brzozowski will be performing a number of her originals, including her most recent Nashville produced radio release, “Good on Me,” which is currently among the top 100 in the Music Row Country Music Charts, other songs on their set list will undoubtedly include her first radio release, Working on a Hangover,” as well as collection of other orginals as well as covering many favorites.
The live music will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 8:30 p.m. Reservation fees for the live music evening are $5, with refunds for wine club members and owners. Admission for the general public will be $5 at the door.
