The El Dorado Hills Town Center continues Live on the Boulevard weekly music series Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m in the EDH Town Center Amphitheater. This week the venue will be the place to be if you are a fan of Rod Stewart as Never a Dull Moment, a tribute to Rod Stewart takes the stage. 

According to their music bio, Never a Dull Moment is bannered as California’s number one tributes to Stewart. Formed in 2017, the six-piece rock band burst onto the music tribute scene with their unique blend of raw energy, and genuine representation of Stewart’s concert performances that had stood the test of time.

At the helm is lead vocalist and front man, Stewart Sher. With a powerful voice that captures all the subtle nuance of Stewart himself, he commands the stage with his dynamic presence and magnetic personality. On guitar, the band will have the technically skilled and inventive playing of longtime members Dean and Reed, who both bring their own unique styles to the band’s sound. On bass, they have the thumping grooves of Marvin, whose driving rhythms and melodic sensibilities hold down the low end of the band’s sound. On drums, Never a Dull Moment has the explosive energy and precision of Jeff, who keeps the band tight and locked in with his in the pocket beats.

The band is named after Stewart’s famed fourth solo album, titled Never a Dull Moment that was release in July of 1972. The album went to number one in the UK and reached the number two spot in the United States and featured significant musical contributions from members of the band Faces and was known best for its tracks You Wear it Well, Twisiting the Night Away and others. 

Those songs and many others are sure to be represented well Thursday night and this six-piece rock band replicates all the hits that bring the concert experience to life. From Rod’s early years with Jeff Beck and the Faces through his long and storied solo career that saw over 250 million record sold. According to the Boardwalk showbill, the tribute is one you don’t want to miss. 

Admission is free to the weekly summer concert series in El Dorado Hills Town Center. Access to the amphitheater takes place at 5:30 p.m. and those looking to get a seat early can partake in the center’s take a number program detailed below in the “thngs to know,” about attending.

Things to Know: The El Dorado Hills Town Center reminds those attending the concerts of several guidelines they enforce at each event which are as follows.

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED per state code at the venue.

A number system is in place for early set up starting at 5:30pm.

If you arrive after 5:30pm open seating is available to everyone.

Numbers handed out at 3:30pm. 1st come 1st serve. Numbers available from security guard in the EDH Town Center Amphitheater.

Must be back in line by 5:20pm in numeric order. Line released at 5:30pm SHARP. If you are late, you will be held and unable to use your number.

1 number per group up to 4.

All ice chests and bags are subject to search.

Nothing may be left in line, no chairs, ice chests, etc.

Return number to guard.

Chairs only. No blankets, tables, or roping off areas.

Designated areas for guests with disabilities are available upon request. Please notify a security guard, if needed, and they will show you to the designated areas.

Please leave Amphitheater by 10pm for safe clean up.

Do not leave your personal belongings after 10pm or they will be removed.

No unauthorized vendor sales or hand-outs.
