Live music continues this Friday in the Piazza at Folsom’s Palladio. Taking the stage at this week’s outdoor concert venue in the middle of the city’s premier shopping and dining destination will be the Keep on Truckin’ band as they bring their love of Woodstock to life on stage.
Guests can celebrate the Woodstock experience with Keep On Truckin’ that has put together a special show to celebrate one of the greatest events in music history. Most tribute bands perform the music of only one artist. Keep on Truckin is a tribute to a very special moment in time and to the many artists whose music will forever be known as “Classic Rock.”
A tribute to the Woodstock Generation, Keep On Truckin’, performs Rock, Blues, Funk and R&B, faithfully recreating the musical experience of the greatest decade in music while bringing to life the music and spirit of the Woodstock era.Together for more than 12 years in Sacramento, five seasoned musicians hail from New York to California and several stops in between. Band members have opened for national acts and have performed on stage internationally. Past projects include Live TV appearances, movie soundtracks, and recording sessions plus performing to sold-out audiences at festivals, arenas and auditoriums.
Friday’s concert is free to attend and starts up at 7:30. The music continues for two entertaining hours, ending at 9:30 and providing plenty of opportunities before and after the show to check out the many great stores, restaurants, destinations and more that the Palladio has to offer. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs to be comfortable and have a great view of the entertainment for the series sponsored by Elliott Homes, AKT Development and Cummings Properties each Friday
