Summertime fun continues this Thursday in the with heart and soul in the heart of Folsom as the Folsom Historic District Association (FHDA) Summer Twilight Concert series lights up the Zittel Family Amphitheater. The event is one of 5 more weeks of live music under the promotion of the FHDA that continues into early September This week it’s Lando Collective, which is now known better as “The Collective,” taking the stage.

Playing 5 decades of the Classic Rock n’ Roll, R&B, and Funk, The Collective features a “collective” of talented musicians and amongst the many genre’s, a little country gets sprinkled in as well. The result is usuall a great response from concert goers that don’t hesitate to get out on the dance floor and enjoy the night. 

The 2024 music series presented by Historic Folsom Station and Willamette Wineworks with a number of supporting sponsors that make it all possible. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and continues for two hours. An early arrival to the amphitheater is suggested to reserve a spot, guests are urged to bring low-backed chairs that sit close to the ground or picnic blankets. The concert is free for all ages. Outside beer and wine is not permitted but is available on site. 

Following Thursday’s event, the Historic Folsom Amphitheater will host the Death and Taxes Swing Band on Aug. 22,  Plaid City on Aug. 29, followed by Island of Black and White on Sept. 5 and the Ariel Jean Band on Sept. 20.  Follwing the regular Thurday night series, Folsom Rotary will be presented several weeks of live music in an additional late summer, fall series.
