If you’re planning to hit Historic Folsom this Saturday night and are seeking some unique live entertainment, you may want to stop by the Gaslight Company on Sutter Street. Gaslight is well known for mixing good drinks with great live music. This Saturday, they will be hosting the rising indie country band, Beard Picker.

The boys of the locally based Beard Picker band bring the unique sounds of rootsy guitar and bass, coupled with back-porch vibes from the harmonica and washboard. They blend indie and outlaw covers with their blue-collar brand of original tunes. Some of their favorite indie artists to cover are Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, and Sturgill Simpson. They also rock throwbacks like Willie Nelson and Hank Jr. So yeah, wear your boots, folks!

You can check out Beard Picker’s music on all major streaming platforms. They will be performing songs off their latest release, a live recorded EP titled Safety Meeting Sessions. Lead singer and songwriter Nick Bossio draws inspiration from his long days working as a contractor, building houses in Sacramento. You can really hear it in his music!

“If you’ve had enough pop country for one week and now you’re in the mood for the gritty sound of strings bendin’ and boots stompin’, this is your night at Gaslight Company in Folsom, on Sutter Street, this Saturday,” said the band’s frontman, Nick Bossio.

The band hits the stage at 8 p.m., and it’s a good idea to arrive early to secure a seat or table to enjoy the entertainment. Gaslight Company is located  upstairs at 718 Sutter Street in Historic Folsom. There is no cover charge for Saturday’s event.
