Fresh off celebrating their 25th anniversary with a ribbon cutting this week, Powerhouse Pub in Historic Folsom is set to host a solid lineup of live music this weekend where you can keep cool as the temperatures heat up as hot as the bands on stage. 

Kicking things off on Friday is Darth Mozart, a Sacramento-based band that blends rock, funk, and groove-heavy beats for an eclectic early show at 7 p.m. Known for their high-energy performances, Darth Mozart’s dynamic set is the perfect way to jumpstart the weekend.

Later Friday evening, at 10 p.m., Powerhouse will host the “Night Fever Disco Show,” an ode to the golden age of disco, complete with groovy tunes, dance floor hits, and nostalgic vibes. Attendees can expect vibrant costumes and a night full of classics from the 1970s, bringing Studio 54-style energy to Folsom.

On Saturday, October 5, the weekend starts with the Saturday Afternoon Dance Party at 3 p.m., featuring the lively sounds of Epic, a high-energy cover band that specializes in hits from the 1980s through today. Epic’s ability to transition seamlessly from rock anthems to pop hits ensures a dance-worthy afternoon for all ages.

Saturday night, Adam Aldama & The Aces take the stage at 10 p.m. This Sacramento-based group is known for their fusion of genres, incorporating R&B, pop, and soul into their setlists. Adam Aldama & The Aces have built a reputation for their soulful vocals, tight musicianship, and engaging performances that keep audiences on their feet all night long.

On Sunday, October 6, the weekend closes with a soulful blues performance by Mighty Mike Schermer at 3 p.m. Schermer, a renowned blues guitarist and singer, has shared the stage with blues legends like Elvin Bishop and Charlie Musselwhite. His powerful guitar riffs and smooth vocals bring authenticity and deep emotion to every performance, offering a perfect Sunday afternoon escape. Sunday’s Powerhouse of Blues goes until 6 p.m.
