2025 event features the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Albert Cummings and the Laurie Morvan Band
EL DORADO HILLS – Tickets are now available for the 2025 Heart of the Hills Blues Blast, a one-day music festival hosted by the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce. Featuring an impressive lineup of award-winning, nationally touring blues acts, the event is set to take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the scenic Overland District just above El Dorado Hills Town Center.
This year’s headliners include The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Albert Cummings, and The Laurie Morvan Band, promising an unforgettable experience for blues enthusiasts.
The Fabulous Thunderbirds, known for hits like “Tuff Enuff” and “Wrap It Up,” bring their iconic sound to the stage with a new album, Struck Down.
The record, co-written by Kim Wilson and Steve Strongman, features contributions from music legends Bonnie Raitt, Billy Gibbons, Mick Fleetwood, and others. The album has earned two Grammy nominations, cementing the band’s enduring influence on the blues genre.
Blues guitarist and singer Albert Cummings continues to rise in the music world with his latest release, TEN. Produced by Chuck Ainlay, the album showcases Cummings’ powerful guitar skills and soulful vocals, earning him comparisons to icons like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix.
Rounding out the lineup, Laurie Morvan, a Blues Foundation Award winner, will deliver her signature brand of guitar-driven, rocking blues. Renowned for her engaging stage presence and polished performances, Morvan leads her tight-knit band with charisma and skill honed over years of collaboration.
The festival will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., with gates opening at noon for general admission ticket holders. VIP ticket holders gain early access at 11:30 a.m., offering the opportunity to select premium seating and enjoy exclusive perks such as wine tasting and light bites from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
General admission tickets are $45 in advance or $55 at the gate, while VIP tickets are $60 in advance or $70 at the gate. Tickets can be purchased online at www.heartofthehillsmusicfest.org.
Wine tasting for all ticket holders will be available from noon to 1:30 p.m., with additional drink tickets for full-pour wine and beer available for purchase at the event. A variety of food trucks will also be on-site to complement the festivities.
All proceeds will benefit the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce, supporting its many programs aimed at strengthening the community and fostering local businesses.
