Powerhouse Pub is bringing the ultimate Saturday night party to Historic Folsom, headlined by Superbad, one of Northern California’s electrifying dance bands. The band is one of two hitting the stage Saturday and leads up to a Powerhouse of a Super Bowl watch party on Sunday.
Known for their high-energy performances and dynamic stage presence, Superbad delivers an unforgettable mix of funk, R&B, pop, and rock hits spanning from the 70s to today. Before they take the stage, the evening kicks off with a Grateful Dead tribute in the afternoon.
The music starts Saturday at 3 p.m. with the Saturday Afternoon Dance Party, featuring The Nipper Brothers – A Grateful Dead Tribute. This Northern California band faithfully recreates the sound and feel of a Grateful Dead show, blending intricate vocal harmonies with the legendary melodies of Jerry Garcia.
At 10 p.m., the one and only Superbad takes center stage, led by six-foot-six frontman Henry Lange. Known for their infectious energy and crowd-moving performances, Superbad packs the dance floor with funk, pop, rock, and R&B favorites that keep the party going all night. Whether you’re a fan of throwback classics or today’s hits, Superbad delivers a powerhouse performance guaranteed to get everyone dancing.
Then on Sunday, the fun continues as Powerhouse transforms into a watch party for the Super Bowl with a 15-foot big screen, BBQ on the patio, and Big Rob’s Cigar & Hookah Lounge. Sunday’s big game festivities begin at noon.
Powerhouse Pub is located at 614 Sutter St., Folsom, CA 95630, in Folsom’s Historic District. For tickets and additional details, visit www.powerhousepub.com or contact the venue directly.
