Annual event Returns to Historic Folsom Powerhouse for 9th Year of Brews, Beats, and Local History
The Friends of the Folsom Powerhouse are once again raising a glass to history, hops, and community as they host the 9th Annual Powerfest Taps & Tunes on Saturday, June 7 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park, located at 9980 Greenback Lane in Folsom.
This popular annual fundraiser brings together craft beer lovers, history enthusiasts, and music fans for an evening that celebrates the deep connection between the historic Folsom Powerhouse and the Sacramento region’s brewing industry. Guests can sample more than 20 local brews, dance to live music by Lo-Fi Lowdown, enjoy a selection of savory food truck fare, and take part in guided tours that explore the rich legacy of this iconic site.
The event offers more than just a night out. It’s a fundraiser supporting educational programs at Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park, presented by the Friends of the Folsom Powerhouse, a cooperating association of California State Parks.
Tickets are $40 through June 3 and $45 after that date if still available. A $10 ticket option is available for designated drivers. Each ticket includes beer tasting, historic site tours, live music, and more. All attendees must be 21 or older and present valid ID upon entry. No pets, outside food, or drinks are permitted. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.folsompowerhouse.org or at the gate if not sold out.
Powerfest is made possible thanks to the support of generous sponsors, including KGS Group, Associated Power Sales, Folsom Times, HONN, MKI, Syblon Reid, Visit Folsom, Folsom Telegraph, San Joaquin Electric Inc.
