The weekend is bringing the heat to Historic Folsom’s Powerhouse Pub with a full slate of high-energy performances that promise to keep the crowd dancing all the way through Sunday. From soulful blues and funky throwbacks to horn-powered rock and 2000s hits, this iconic venue once again proves it’s the place to be for live music lovers in the region.

The weekend kicks off Friday evening with Bad Cat, taking the stage at 7:00 p.m. This Sacramento-based group, founded by lead guitarist Vince Bunio in 2022, brings a powerful mix of classic rock and blues with a distinctive California Delta flair. With the added punch of a horn section, Bad Cat creates a big, bold sound that sets the tone for a high-energy night.

Later Friday night, the party turns up another notch with Adam Aldama & The Aces at 10:00 p.m. Known for their genre-bending shows, this five-piece band covers a variety of themes—from Prince tributes as The Red Corvettes to Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson tributes under the name Finesse. They also bring the early 2000s alive with their Y2K Live set, delivering crowd favorites with a dynamic stage presence that keeps the dance floor packed until last call.
