Round 2 of Summer Twilight Concert Series marks busy three days in Folsom for Sacramento-based band

The rhythm of summer’s arrival continues in Historic Folsom this Thursday as the Summer Twilight Concert Series rolls into its second week, welcoming the return of Adam Aldama & The Aces to the Zittel Family Amphitheater. Known for their explosive stage presence and crowd-pleasing mix of hits, the Sacramento-based band takes the stage on Thursday, June 12, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. for another unforgettable night of free live music under the stars.

Formed in 2021 by frontman Adam Aldama, this five-piece powerhouse band has quickly made a name for itself throughout Northern California’s live music scene. Since their debut at Mango’s Nightclub in Sacramento, Adam Aldama & The Aces have become a local favorite at festivals, clubs, and private events thanks to their eclectic style and non-stop energy.

The band’s signature sound spans across Throwback Hip Hop & R&B, Pop, Old School, and Top 40 hits, blending eras and styles to deliver a dance-floor-ready performance that keeps audiences on their feet. Their high-energy shows are more than just concerts—they’re full productions, complete with choreography, vocal duets, and a dynamic stage chemistry that brings every song to life.

In addition to their versatile main act, The Aces are known for themed tribute sets that pay homage to music legends. Their rotating tribute shows include The Red Corvettes (Prince), Finesse (Bruno Mars), 2Bad (Michael Jackson), Y2K Live (2000s Hits), and Night Fever (Disco), showcasing the band’s range and ability to connect with fans of all generations.

The current lineup features Adam Aldama on vocals alongside Veronica Ballejos, with Brett Sackett on lead guitar, Keywan Ryland on drums, and Jimmy O’Shea on bass. Together, they bring a polished, high-octane experience designed to get the crowd moving—and keep them dancing all night long.

The Thursday night show in Historic Folsom marks a busy weekend ahead for Aldama. On Friday the band performs in the opening round of the City of Folsom’s Summer of Music Series and City Lions Park. Then on Saturday, they return to stage of Powerhouse Pub in Historic Folsom.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring low back lawn chairs and enjoy the show from the scenic grassy amphitheater located in the heart of Historic Folsom Plaza. Beer and wine will be available for purchase on site throughout the concert, adding to the festive evening atmosphere.

The Summer Twilight Concert Series continues every Thursday through August 28, featuring a different band each week and a wide variety of musical genres. Upcoming performances include Jessica Malone on June 19 and The Golden Cadillacs on June 26, with acts ranging from blues and Americana to classic rock and country-pop scheduled throughout the summer.

Thanks to support from community sponsors and the Folsom Historic District Association, admission to the concerts is always free. Parking is also free and convenient at the Historic District Parking Garage, located at 905 Leidesdorff Street, just steps from the venue.

In addition to the Thursday night concerts, the Zittel Family Amphitheater will also host other special performances this summer, including the return of the Hometown Country Radio Show on June 27, a multi-artist showcase styled after the Grand Ole Opry.
