Four event series kicks off with Adam Aldama and the Aces rocking the green at Lion’s Park

FOLSOM, Calif. — Summer officially arrives in Folsom this Friday night as the city’s popular Summer of Music Concert Series returns to Lions Park with the first of four high-energy shows under the stars. Kicking off the series is none other than Adam Aldama & The Aces, who will bring their dynamic sound and nonstop energy to the gazebo stage from 7 to 9 p.m.

Formed in 2021 by frontman Adam Aldama, this five-piece powerhouse has quickly become a staple of Northern California’s live music scene. From festivals to clubs and private events, Adam Aldama & The Aces are known for delivering a dance-floor-ready experience fueled by throwback hip hop, R&B, pop, old school classics, and Top 40 hits.

More than just a band, The Aces deliver a full production—complete with vocal duets, choreography, and stage chemistry that keeps audiences on their feet. Their versatility extends into themed tribute shows, covering legends like Prince, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, and more. The group features Adam Aldama and Veronica Ballejos on vocals, Brett Sackett on lead guitar, Keywan Ryland on drums, and Jimmy O’Shea on bass.

Alongside the music, concertgoers can enjoy a variety of local eats. This Friday’s event will feature a lineup of crowd-pleasing food trucks, including Zintzuni Cocina MexicanCia di GelateriaTeaspoon Folsom, and The Pink Ice Cream Cart Company. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to relax on the grass and enjoy a community evening in the park.

The free Summer of Music series continues every other Friday through July 25, bringing a variety of musical styles and decades to the stage. All shows take place at Folsom City Lions Park, located at 403 Stafford Street.

June 27 – Modern Relics (80’s Cover/New Wave)
July 11 – Superbad the Band (Top 40 – 70s, 80s, 90s)
July 25 – Clean Slate (R&B)
