Celebrate Recovery Folsom is inviting the community to a powerful evening of music, inspiration, and transformation on Tuesday, June 24 at the Zittel Family Amphitheater in Historic Folsom. The free event, running from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., is open to all and aims to bring people together in support of personal growth and emotional healing.
Organizers say the evening is focused on helping individuals break free from the struggles that keep them from becoming their best selves—whether those are past traumas, unhealthy habits, or ongoing emotional challenges. The program will include live music, uplifting personal stories, family-friendly activities, and encouraging messages meant to guide attendees toward lasting freedom.
Celebrate Recovery Folsom encourages guests to come early and enjoy a meal along Sutter Street or bring a picnic to enjoy in the shaded amphitheater. Lawn chairs or blankets are recommended for comfortable seating, and ample public parking is available nearby.
The organization, which is rooted in faith-based principles, has long been committed to walking alongside those seeking healing and wholeness. Tuesday’s gathering is designed to be both a celebration and a support system, offering a glimpse into the life-changing impact of community and recovery.
Celebrate Recovery is a ministry of Bayside Folsom that offers recovery and support to individuals of all ages who are navigating life’s challenges, or as the program calls them, “hurts, hang-ups, and habits.” Quoting scripture, the ministry highlights the message that, “My grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak” (2 Corinthians 12:9–10), as the foundation for its work.
The program offers something for everyone. Adults can participate in weekly Celebrate Recovery meetings designed to foster healing in a safe and caring environment. Children ages 5–12 are welcomed into Celebration Place, where they learn age-appropriate tools to support emotional and spiritual growth alongside their parents. Teenagers and high school students can take part in The Landing, a dedicated space where they process life’s struggles and develop healthy coping strategies.
In addition to weekly meetings, CR Outside takes the community beyond the walls of the church with monthly events that promote fun and connection. Whether it’s a guided hike, a bike ride, or a group picnic, these outings encourage participants to experience the healing power of fellowship in the outdoors.
