The curtain comes down on another season of live music in the park this Friday night as Folsom’s 2025 Summer of Music Concert Series concludes with a grand finale performance by Clean Slate at Folsom City Lions Park.

The free concert runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the park’s gazebo stage, located at 403 Stafford Street. As always, attendees can expect a festive evening of great music, community spirit, and delicious local eats from a variety of food trucks on site.

Clean Slate brings a dynamic stage presence and a catalog of hits that span more than five decades. Made up of ten professional musicians, the band is known for its high-energy performances, featuring powerful vocals, a tight horn section, and a funky rhythm section. Their shows are packed with timeless tunes from genres including Big Band, Soul, Country, R&B, Rock, and Pop—ensuring there’s something for every music lover in the crowd.

Originally formed in 1974 and re-formed in 2002, Clean Slate was inspired by legends like Tower of Power, Earth Wind & Fire, AWB, The Spinners, Aretha Franklin, and James Brown. The group continues to pay tribute to those Old School icons while mixing in the best dance music from the decades that followed, delivering an ultimate show band experience that keeps audiences coming back for more.

To complement the evening’s entertainment, a trio of food vendors will be on hand to serve up crowd favorites. Zintzuni Cocina Mexicana will offer savory dinner options, while Cià di Gelateria and the Pink Ice Cream Cart Company, Inc. will keep things cool with delicious desserts and sweet treats.

This Friday marks the final installment in a well-attended concert series that has brought hundreds of residents and visitors together for free Friday night entertainment throughout the summer. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and arrive early to grab a good spot on the grass.

Don’t miss the last chance to experience live music under the stars this summer—join the community at Lions Park for a night of great music, dancing, and celebration with Clean Slate.
