One of the popular acts of past Summer Twilight Concert Series shows is back. The Sky Kings return to the Zittel Family Amphitheater stage on Thursday, August 7, bringing their signature blend of vocal harmonies, soaring guitar work, and heartfelt Americana to Historic Folsom.
A seasoned group of musicians with roots that stretch across the Western U.S., The Sky Kings are known for delivering a polished, genre-crossing sound that fuses country rock, classic hits, and original tunes. Drawing inspiration from icons like The Eagles, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Byrds, and Jackson Browne, their performances strike the perfect balance between nostalgic and fresh.
Formerly known as The Rangers, The Sky Kings have performed alongside some of the biggest names in country music—including Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Trisha Yearwood, LeAnn Rimes, and Merle Haggard—and now headline shows throughout the region with a full lineup of powerhouse talent.
With a stage presence anchored by rich vocal harmonies, lead guitar solos, rhythmic keyboard grooves, and a horn section that adds an extra punch, this eight-piece band delivers a soundscape built for outdoor summer nights under the stars.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Zittel Family Amphitheater, located in the Historic Folsom Plaza at 200 Wool Street. The Summer Twilight Concert Series is free and open to all ages. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, bring lawn chairs, and enjoy the wide variety of nearby dining and dessert options before the music begins.
The Twilight Concert Series continues every Thursday evening through August and is presented by the Folsom Historic District Association. To learn more about The Sky Kings and the full concert schedule, visit www.historicfolsom.org.
