El Dorado Hills will groove to the golden sounds of soul this Thursday, August 7, as Nathan Owens Motown & Soul Revue brings its signature “Soulful Swagger” to the Live on the Boulevard concert series at the Town Center Amphitheater. This high-energy revue promises a night of smooth vocals, timeless dance moves, and iconic hits that defined a generation.

Led by Bay Area performer and bandleader Nathan Owens, the group delivers an explosive blend of sight and sound featuring hits from Motown’s biggest stars. With tributes to legends like The Four Tops, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, and Otis Redding, this show is as visually stunning as it is musically authentic.

The six-piece ensemble—featuring Nathan Owens on keyboards, guitar, and lead vocals—includes Larry White on guitar and vocals, Clarence Harris on drums and vocals, Rick Hill on bass, and lead vocalists Keith Williams and Ralph Owens. With the addition of choreographed movement, optional horns, and a percussionist, the band creates a full-scale production that radiates energy from the first note to the final encore.

Known throughout the West Coast for their dynamic performances, Nathan Owens Motown & Soul Revue has opened for musical giants including B.B. King, Kool & The Gang, and Stevie Wonder, and even shared the stage with Jay Leno. They are a regular fixture at premier venues and casinos across Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Las Vegas, captivating audiences with their smooth harmonies and dance-floor-filling rhythms.

This week’s concert is presented with the theme Soulful Swagger, and promises a celebration of music that spans generations and unites fans young and old.
