EL DORADO HILLS – Live on the Boulevard will be rocking tonight, Sept. 4, as Big Crush, one of the nation’s hottest dance bands, takes the stage at the El Dorado Hills Town Center Amphitheater. The free Thursday night concert series continues its streak of crowd-pleasing performances with a show that promises to turn Town Center into a community-wide dance floor.
In just five years, Big Crush has built a devoted following and earned rave reviews for its fresh spin on chart-topping hits. Known for creative mashups, sharp choreography, and first-rate musicianship, the group has become the band of choice for weddings, corporate events, festivals, and galas. Their shows are designed as full-scale productions, keeping audiences on their feet and talking long after the final song.
Big Crush ranges in size from eight to 16 performers, with each show tailored through dedicated rehearsals to fit the event. Created and produced by Hip Entertainment & Events, the group carries the same pedigree as Hip Service, an award-winning band that has been entertaining for more than two decades. Launched in 2017, Big Crush quickly established itself as a premier act, bringing the same level of precision, energy, and showmanship to audiences across the country.
Every performance reflects the band’s Broadway-inspired approach: exceptional talent, meticulous detail, and relentless rehearsals that deliver consistently stellar results. Whether reinventing current chart-toppers or breathing new life into classics, Big Crush has become a must-see act for high-profile events nationwide.
Tonight’s concert runs from 7 to 9 p.m., with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free and seating is first come, first served.
