Golden Buzzer winners on Québec’s Got Talent to to make Oct. 12 at Harris Center in Folsom Concert Series event
FOLSOM – The Folsom Concert Association will continue its 2025–2026 season with one of today’s most dynamic family music groups, The Next Generation Leahy, who bring their award-winning talents to the Harris Center for the Arts on Sunday, October 12, at 2 p.m.
Hailed as one of the most exciting ensembles touring today, The Next Generation Leahy delivers a family-friendly show that blends fiddle, step dancing, piano, singing, and percussion into a high-energy performance that has brought audiences to their feet across North America and abroad. The family band recently won a Golden Buzzer on Québec’s Got Talent, earning international recognition for their extraordinary ability to combine skill, joy, and togetherness through music.
Despite their youth, the siblings that make up The Next Generation Leahy are already accomplished multi-instrumentalists. Each carries forward the tradition of the celebrated Leahy name while also pushing into new musical territory. While Celtic roots shape their foundation, their shows move seamlessly through genres, drawing from influences both traditional and modern.
Their performances have been described as “astounding” and “breath-taking,” with music that overflows with joy and positivity and creates a rare, memorable experience for audiences.
The upcoming concert is part of a season that marks more than three decades of cultural enrichment in Folsom. Since its founding in 1994, the nonprofit, volunteer-run Folsom Concert Association has presented more than 140 concerts and remains one of the region’s most affordable series, offering world-class talent at ticket prices ranging from $35 to $50. The 2025–2026 lineup features five performances spanning diverse genres, running through May 2026.
FCA’s mission extends beyond the stage. Proceeds from the concert season support programs that bring music to seniors in residential communities, provide scholarships to high school students pursuing college studies in music, and refurbish donated instruments for schools in need. With strong community backing and a partnership with Harris Center for the Arts, FCA continues to ensure that top-tier performances remain accessible in Folsom.
