Clint Warner Band, Adam Aldama & The Aces, Dennis Jones round out full weekend slate
Historic Folsom’s Powerhouse Pub is gearing up for another packed weekend of live music, beginning Friday evening and continuing through Sunday’s Powerhouse of Blues showcase. The three-day lineup blends rock tributes, 90s nostalgia, dance-floor favorites and one of today’s standout modern blues performers, giving audiences a full range of entertainment options in the heart of Sutter Street.
The weekend opens Friday at 6:30 p.m. with Halfway Inn, the energetic tribute band dedicated to recreating the sound and swagger of epic rock acts from across the decades. Described as the “ALL INN” band paying tribute to “EPIC ROCK BANDS” of the decades, their set is built around big hooks, singalong choruses and a party-first attitude that fits perfectly with Powerhouse’s TGIF early show format. For those looking to shake off the work week with guitars turned up and familiar anthems, it’s an easy way to start the weekend.
Friday’s music continues at 10 p.m. with 120 Minutes, a Sacramento-based 90s–00s alternative rock cover band that leans hard into nostalgia. Their shows are designed to transport audiences back to being teenagers watching Radiohead on MTV in poster-covered bedrooms, blasting The Smashing Pumpkins in well-worn Honda Accords or crowd surfing to Pearl Jam at Lollapalooza.
120 Minutes Band
With a setlist pulling from the defining bands of that era, 120 Minutes reminds fans that even as the years pass, the songs that soundtracked those moments never really leave.
Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m., the weekend transitions into the Saturday Afternoon Dance Party with the Clint Warner Band, delivering a mix of classic rock and blues rock dance songs.
Their straightforward, guitar-driven sound and familiar song choices make for an easygoing, feel-good matinee that gives guests a chance to ease into Saturday evening with friends, drinks and a packed dance floor.
Saturday night at 10 p.m., Adam Aldama & The Aces bring back their “Now That’s What I Call 90’s” experience, turning Powerhouse into a full-scale 1990s throwback party. The band will roll through a wide range of hits from artists like 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mark Morrison, Color Me Badd, Mariah Carey, Vanilla Ice, New Kids on the Block and more, covering hip hop, R&B, pop and rock from the decade.

Guests can chill in Big Rob’s Cigar & Hookah Lounge or light up the glowing LED dance floor while sipping signature drinks and dancing into the early 2000s. With 90s attire encouraged—JNCO jeans, scrunchies and other retro favorites—the night is built around nostalgia, crowd participation and borderline non-stop singalongs.
The weekend wraps up Sunday at 3 p.m. with Powerhouse of Blues featuring Dennis Jones, an acclaimed guitarist, vocalist and songwriter who has earned his place as a headliner after opening for icons like Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy, George Thorogood and Tinsley Ellis and touring extensively across the United States, Canada and Europe. Known for sizzling hot guitar solos, smooth and soulful vocals and a high-energy stage performance, Jones fronts a band backed by a rhythm section that has been praised as second to none.
Jones’s feet are firmly rooted in the traditions of American blues, but his songs reach confidently into contemporary rock and soul, blending both worlds into a sound that feels classic and current at the same time. Over the course of his career he has written for other artists, including Guitar Shorty, and spent three years with The Bus Boys, known for “The Boys Are Back in Town.” He was also a member of the Zac Harmon Band when they won first place in the 2004 Blues Music Awards Competition in Memphis, a milestone that helped cement his reputation as a powerful live performer and songwriter. Sunday’s show offers local blues fans a chance to see a seasoned headliner up close in an intimate Folsom setting.
