Abstract Expressions artist reception launches walkable tasting and music experience at Town Center
An evening celebrating art, flavor and community connection will unfold in El Dorado Hills on Saturday, Jan. 24, as Tastes of Town Center brings together local artists, restaurants, live music and businesses for a walkable night of tastings and experiences.
The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. throughout El Dorado Hills Town Center, beginning with an artist reception at The Atrium Gallery EDH before extending across Town Center. Designed as a self-guided experience, the evening invites guests to start with art, then explore food, beverages, live music and interactive offerings throughout the center at their own pace.
The night kicks off at The Atrium Gallery EDH with “Abstract Expressions,” an artist reception featuring work by artists from the EDH Arts Association. The reception is hosted by the EDH Foundation and proudly sponsored by C. Knight’s Steakhouse. Guests are encouraged to meet the artists, enjoy the gallery setting and then fan out across Town Center as the tasting portion of the evening begins. A live painting demonstration from 6 to 7 p.m. will also take place during the event, offering a real-time look at the creative process.
Live jazz will be featured throughout the evening, with performances by Pocket Change providing a relaxed, upbeat soundtrack as guests move between participating locations. Organizers say the live music element is intended to enhance the walkable experience and create a cohesive atmosphere across Town Center.
As part of Tastes of Town Center, businesses throughout the center will offer guests a variety of food tastings, beverages, product samples and curated experiences, giving the community an opportunity to explore the breadth of Town Center in one evening. Guests are encouraged to begin at the gallery and continue through participating locations. Individual offerings may vary by business, and attendees are advised to check participating business social media channels for specific details.
Participating locations include Chris Wolfe Real Estate, EDH Motors, C. Knight’s Steakhouse, Boring Rose Brewing Co., Alchemy, Barrel & Bliss Wine Bar, Bawarchi Indian Cuisine, Beyond Wellness, Brickyard Counter & Bar, CJ’s Cigars, Cold Stone Creamery, Encanto Cocina & Tequila Bar, Formaggio Pizza, IV Lounge, South Fork Grille, Teaspoon, World Traveler Coffee Roasters and X-Golf EDH, with additional participants to be announced.
Organizers describe Tastes of Town Center as a community night designed to connect residents with local businesses, artists and musicians in an accessible and social setting, highlighting the creativity and diversity that define Town Center.
