Beloved Disney stories from Frozen 2, Wish, Moana, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid take the ice in a high-energy, music-driven production running Feb. 12–16 in Sacramento.
Families across the region will have a chance to step into a high-energy celebration on ice when Disney On Ice presents its brand-new production, “Let’s Dance!,” skating into Golden 1 Center from Feb. 12–16.
The all-new show transforms the traditional Disney On Ice experience into a music-filled party, led by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy as DJ-style hosts who remix classic and contemporary Disney songs into a colorful, fast-moving adventure. Audiences are invited to sing, dance and interact as favorite stories unfold on and above the ice through intricate figure skating, aerial acrobatics, special effects, elaborate costumes and immersive set designs.
“Let’s Dance!” features a lineup of fan-favorite Disney films, with a particular spotlight on Wish. Disney On Ice made history as the first live entertainment production to introduce Asha before the animated film’s release, and the new show expands that world with even more characters from the Kingdom of Rosas. Asha, Valentino, Star and King Magnifico bring songs from the film to life in a sequence that highlights the power of music and shared storytelling.
The production also revisits Frozen 2, taking audiences back to Arendelle and the Enchanted Forest alongside Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf. The journey includes moments at Ahtohallan, the river of memory, as Elsa searches the past and Olaf navigates change with his signature humor. Moana’s story unfolds as she journeys beyond Motunui to save her island, joined by Maui and facing colorful adversaries along the way, while The Lion King transports audiences to the Pride Lands for a tale of courage, responsibility and the enduring “Circle of Life.”
The Little Mermaid rounds out the experience beneath the sea, where Sebastian leads an orchestra of sea creatures as Ariel dreams of life on land, with familiar musical moments woven into the on-ice spectacle.
Performances are scheduled throughout the week, beginning Thursday, Feb. 12, with evening shows, multiple performances on Saturday, Feb. 14, and matinees and afternoon shows on Sunday and Monday, offering flexibility for families planning a visit. All performances take place at Golden 1 Center, located at 500 David J. Stern Walk in downtown Sacramento.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Golden 1 Center box office, with family-friendly pricing options offered. Ticket prices may vary based on demand.
In addition to the main performance, audiences can enhance their visit with the “Frozen Fun with Anna & Elsa” character experience. The preshow event allows guests to interact with Anna and Elsa through games, crafts and sing-alongs. A separate character experience ticket, along with a Disney On Ice show ticket, is required for each guest age 2 and older, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
