Historic Folsom’s Powerhouse Pub is turning Valentine’s weekend into a two-night showcase of high-energy live music as Adam Aldama & The Aces take over the stage on back-to-back evenings, delivering two distinctly themed performances designed for couples, groups of friends and anyone looking to make a night of it.

The celebration begins Friday, Feb. 13, with Finesse – The Bruno Mars Tribute Show, kicking off at 10 p.m. The tribute production highlights the chart-topping hits and infectious grooves that have made Bruno Mars a global pop force. Backed by a tight five-piece band, Adam Aldama & The Aces bring the funk-driven rhythms, polished harmonies and choreography-inspired staging that define their live shows. The performance blends crowd-favorite singalongs with dance-floor-ready tracks, setting an upbeat tone for the weekend.

For those looking to start Valentine’s plans early, Friday’s show offers a lively option — less candlelight, more neon glow — as the LED dance floor lights up and the night unfolds across multiple rooms inside the Sutter Street venue.

Saturday, Feb. 14, shifts into Valentine’s Night mode with a full dance party featuring Adam Aldama & The Aces beginning at 10 p.m. While romance may be in the air, the atmosphere is built around movement, music and shared moments on the dance floor. Whether it’s a classic date night, a double-date gathering or a friends’ night out, the band’s genre-spanning catalog provides a soundtrack that crosses generations.

Adam Aldama and the Aces

Formed in 2021 by frontman Adam Aldama, the five-piece band has quickly established itself throughout Northern California’s live music scene. Since their debut at Mango’s Nightclub in Sacramento, the group has become a regular at clubs, festivals and private events, building a reputation for their eclectic style and nonstop energy.

Their signature sound spans throwback hip-hop and R&B, pop, old school favorites and Top 40 hits, delivered through structured stage productions that include choreography, vocal duets and dynamic crowd interaction. The band is known for keeping audiences on their feet, turning each performance into a full-scale dance experience rather than a standard live set.

In addition to Finesse, their rotating tribute productions include The Red Corvettes, a Prince-inspired show; 2Bad, celebrating the music of Michael Jackson; Y2K Live, centered on 2000s-era hits; and Night Fever, paying homage to the disco era. Each themed production demonstrates the band’s versatility while maintaining the polished, high-octane style that has become their trademark.

The current lineup features Adam Aldama on vocals alongside Veronica Ballejos, with Brett Sackett on lead guitar, Keywan Ryland on drums and Jimmy O’Shea on bass. Together, the group delivers tight musicianship layered with performance-driven presentation.

Powerhouse Pub, located at 614 Sutter Street in Historic Folsom, offers multiple entertainment spaces including Scarlet’s specialty bar and Big Rob’s Cigar & Hookah Cabana, along with several full-service bars throughout the venue. Both Valentine’s weekend events are 21 and over.
