EL DORADO HILLS — A new community celebration is coming to El Dorado Hills as the EDH Shamrock Festival makes its debut at El Dorado Hills Town Center on Saturday, March 14, offering a full day of live music, family-friendly activities and festive St. Patrick’s Day spirit.

The inaugural event invites residents and visitors to celebrate the season early with entertainment and activities taking place throughout the Town Center, beginning in the morning with the weekly EDH Town Center Farmers Market and continuing into the evening with performances across the Amphitheater and Theatre Plaza.

The day begins with the EDH Town Center Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., setting the stage for a lively afternoon and evening filled with music, entertainment and community engagement. Live music in the Amphitheater will start during the market and continue throughout the day with Matthew Balling performing at 9 a.m., followed by Dick Larson at 11 a.m. Later in the afternoon, Static Sugar will take the stage at 2 p.m., followed by a Kids DJ set at 4:30 p.m. The evening portion of the festival will feature Island of Black and White performing from 6 to 9 p.m.

Additional music will be featured in Theatre Plaza, where Listening Lounge favorites AKA Live will perform from 2 to 5 p.m., followed by Cougar Adams from 6 to 8 p.m.

Adding to the St. Patrick’s Day atmosphere, traditional bagpipe music will be featured throughout the day. Bagpipes will be performed from 1:30 to 2 p.m. during the Farmers Market, and Piper’s Folly will perform from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Rose Garden at Boring Rose Brewing Company.

Organizers say the event also builds on the success of a recent Town Center music showcase known as The Listening Lounge, which highlighted regional talent and invited the community to vote for their favorite performers to return for future events. Following that community survey, three of the most requested artists — Matthew Balling, AKA Live and Cougar Adams — were invited to perform at the Shamrock Festival, continuing what organizers are calling the “EDH Soundtrack of 2026.”

In addition to live entertainment, the festival will offer a variety of family-friendly activities including various activities and cotton candy, along with festive food and beverage offerings. Jameson and Guinness will be featured during the celebration, while Boring Rose Brewing Company will serve green beer in Theatre Plaza.

Brickyard Counter & Bar is serving as the official sponsor of the music programming in the Amphitheater.

The EDH Shamrock Festival is produced in partnership with the EDH Arts and Entertainment Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting arts, culture and live entertainment experiences in El Dorado Hills. Through events like the Shamrock Festival, the foundation works to bring accessible community programming, live performances and cultural gatherings to residents and visitors alike.

Organizers say the goal of the new festival is to bring the community together while supporting local businesses and creating a festive atmosphere leading into St. Patrick’s Day.

Guests attending the event are encouraged to bring folding chairs, wear green and enjoy an afternoon and evening of music, food and celebration throughout El Dorado Hills Town Center.
