Reunited Sacramento hard rock band headlines March 14 show alongside rising modern rock act and regional singer-songwriter
A reunited Sacramento hard rock favorite returns to the stage at The Boardwalk on Saturday, March 14, as Some Fear None headlines a powerful lineup that also features ALPHAMEGA and Linden Wood.
The show marks another appearance for Some Fear None at the Orangevale venue following the band’s return to live performances after several years away. Known for their harmony-driven hard rock sound and strong regional following, the band built a reputation across Northern California before stepping away in 2016.
Now back together, Some Fear None has reunited its core lineup of Nathan Giguiere on vocals and guitar, Charles Carrasco on guitar, Jason Weisker on drums and Gina Salatino on bass and guitar.
Drawing influence from a wide range of modern rock and alternative artists—including Deftones, Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, Tool, Soundgarden and Helmet—the band developed a sound that blends heavy riffs with melodic hooks and radio-friendly songwriting. During their original run beginning in 2010, Some Fear None built a loyal fan base while performing on many of Northern California’s major stages and earning recognition within the regional rock scene.
Following a hiatus that began in 2016, the band reunited in 2025 and has since returned to performing for longtime fans while introducing their music to a new generation of listeners.
ALPHAMEGA
Supporting the evening’s lineup is ALPHAMEGA, a Southern California modern rock band formed by singer Adam Ryan, guitarist Michael Christian and bassist Will Stacey. The group later added acclaimed touring and studio drummer Chrissy Warner—known for her work with Butcher Babies, Dope and Scars of Tomorrow—bringing additional power and experience to the band’s sound.
Blending the massive hooks of bands like Avenged Sevenfold and Shinedown with melodic European metal influences such as In Flames and Soilwork, ALPHAMEGA has quickly carved out its own modern hard rock identity.
The band’s debut album was recorded with producers John Boecklin of Bad Wolves and Josh Gilbert of Spiritbox and As I Lay Dying. Their lead single “No Longer Broken” showcases the band’s heavy, empowering sound and reflects the ambition behind the project as the group continues building momentum.
Opening the night is Linden Wood, a versatile musician whose career spans more than a decade across multiple genres. Equally comfortable performing Americana-inspired singer-songwriter material or heavier rock styles, Wood has performed on stages across the region and appeared at major events including the Warped Tour.
Lindon Wood
Throughout his career he has shared stages with touring acts such as Prong, Trivium, Soulfly and Floater while building a reputation as a confident solo performer capable of connecting with audiences through passionate performances and natural stage presence.
Together the lineup offers a diverse night of modern rock and hard rock energy, bringing together a reunited local favorite, an emerging national act and an experienced regional performer.
The show begins at 8 p.m. and is open to all ages with a parent or guardian required for guests under 21.
The Boardwalk, located at 9426 Greenback Lane in Orangevale, remains one of the region’s most recognized live music venues, hosting touring artists, tribute acts and regional performers in an intimate setting that places fans close to the stage.
