ORANGEVALE — A full weekend of music, food and St. Patrick’s-themed fun is on tap at Jan’s Lounge in Orangevale as the Sacramento cover band All Good Vibes takes the stage Friday night ahead of the venue’s Shenanigan Sunday celebration the following afternoon.
Friday’s live music kicks off at 8 p.m. with All Good Vibes, a Sacramento-based band known for delivering dance-driven performances built around an eclectic mix of R&B, funk, pop, rock, modern country and 1980s throwbacks. The show runs until 11 p.m. and, as with most live entertainment at the longtime neighborhood bar, there is no cover charge.
Fronted by vocalists Andrew Wosnum and Amanda Beltz, the group blends strong harmonies and energetic stage presence with a rhythm section designed to keep crowds moving. Bassist Dustin Davis and drummer Dakota Pattison provide the groove that anchors the band’s sound, while guitarist Russell Brewer rounds out the lineup with rich tones and melodic leads that elevate the band’s wide-ranging setlist.
The band has developed a reputation for bringing a lively atmosphere to venues throughout the Sacramento region, performing everything from funk grooves and classic rock to modern country and nostalgic hits that audiences immediately recognize. Their setlists are built to keep dance floors active, often mixing crowd favorites with newer hits and occasional guest vocalists depending on the show.
The weekend continues Sunday as Jan’s Lounge hosts its Shenanigan Sunday St. Patrick’s celebration beginning at 2 p.m. The event features traditional corned beef and cabbage, along with themed drink specials including $6 Slane Irish whiskey shots, $8.50 Slane with Guinness, and $6.50 Slane Green Tea shots.
The afternoon gathering offers a relaxed way for the community to continue the weekend festivities with food, drinks and Irish-inspired fun following Friday night’s live music.
Located at 9222 Greenback Lane in Orangevale, Jan’s Lounge sits in the heart of downtown Orangevale on Greenback between Chestnut and Walnut.
