Free Summer of Music concert series continues on the green with food trucks, more
FOLSOM – The City of Folsom’s Summer of Music series continues Friday evening as Night Owls takes the stage at Lions Park, bringing an evening of Top 40 favorites, dance hits and crowd-pleasing classics to the third concert of the season.
The free concert takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lions Park, 403 Stafford Street, where families, friends and music lovers are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of live entertainment in one of Folsom’s favorite outdoor gathering spots. Food trucks will also be on site throughout the evening.
Following performances by In Kahootz and Power Play earlier this summer, the series continues this week with one of Northern California’s premier party bands.
Night Owls is a San Francisco Bay Area-based Top 40 cover collective known for delivering energetic performances packed with recognizable hits from multiple generations. Built around a rotating roster of nearly 20 professional musicians, the group has earned a reputation for creating a polished, high-energy concert experience that keeps audiences dancing from the opening song to the final encore.
The band’s expansive repertoire spans decades and musical genres, seamlessly blending artists such as The Killers, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson and The Beatles into a nonstop party atmosphere. Their ability to move effortlessly between pop, rock, soul, dance and classic favorites makes each performance appealing to audiences of all ages.
Night Owls features powerhouse female vocalists Jae and Lady alongside male vocalists Luis, Justin and Freddy. The band’s instrumental lineup includes guitarists Sam and Chris, a rotating team of keyboardists including Joey, Roy and Glenn, bassist Joe, and drummers Drew, Matt, Mao and Bill, creating a full, dynamic sound that has become the group’s signature.
In addition to its talented musicians, Night Owls is known for providing a complete entertainment experience with professional lighting, sound and DJ capabilities, helping transform every venue into a lively dance party.
The Summer of Music series has become a summertime tradition in Folsom, offering free outdoor concerts that bring the community together for evenings of live entertainment in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Lions Park’s expansive lawn provides plenty of room for concertgoers to spread out while children enjoy the open green space.
The 2026 Summer of Music series concludes Friday, July 24, when rock band Inverness95 closes out the four-concert lineup. Admission to all Summer of Music concerts is free.
