Stage Bar and Apex performances bring grunge, blues, classic rock and dance-floor favorites to Red Hawk Resort Casino
From grunge-era singalongs and blues-driven guitar work to classic rock dance favorites, Red Hawk Resort Casino is bringing another packed weekend of free live entertainment to its Stage Bar and Apex venues as Plaid City, the Clint Warner Duo and Donnie and the Wayrads take over the property with back-to-back performances Friday and Saturday night.
Friday night at the Stage Bar belongs to Plaid City, the Northern California cover band fronted by Jason Weeks that has built a growing reputation for filling dance floors with a genre-hopping performance style built around crowd interaction, familiar hits and nonstop energy.
Taking the stage from 8 p.m. until midnight, Plaid City delivers a musical ride that jumps from the grunge and alternative rock explosion of the 1990s to the one-hit wonders and pop favorites of the 1980s, while also weaving in classic rock staples from the 1970s, country singalongs and hip-hop party tracks.

The band’s identity is intentionally simple. When they arrive, they wear plaid and they play rock ’n’ roll. In their promotional materials, the group jokingly describes it as “the easiest gimmick in show business,” but the real draw is their ability to turn virtually any room into a crowd-driven party atmosphere.
Plaid City’s broad catalog allows the group to pivot effortlessly between genres and eras depending on the mood of the crowd. One moment audiences may be singing along to 1990s grunge anthems and alternative favorites, while the next transitions into timeless classic rock hits, country drinking songs or dance-floor hip-hop throwbacks. The result is a performance designed to appeal to nearly every type of music fan in the room.
Known for their high-energy approach and spontaneous interaction with audiences, Plaid City doesn’t simply perform for the crowd — they become part of it, creating a lively environment where guests often spend as much time singing along as they do dancing.
The entertainment starts even earlier Friday evening at The Apex at Red Hawk Resort Casino, where the Clint Warner Duo takes the stage from 7 to 10 p.m. as part of the venue’s continuing live acoustic entertainment lineup.
Based out of Sacramento, Clint Warner is known throughout the region for his blues-based style that blends classic hits from multiple genres into an energetic live experience built around powerful vocals and highly versatile guitar playing.
Warner was born in San Francisco in 1967 and began playing guitar at just 8 years old. Exposure to a broad range of musical styles early in life helped shape both his expressive vocal delivery and adaptable guitar technique. After relocating to California’s Central Valley in his late teens, Warner immersed himself in the Top 40, country, jazz, blues and rock circuits throughout Northern California.

During his twenties, Warner regularly performed alongside bassist Bill Church, known for work with Sammy Hagar, Ronnie Montrose and Van Morrison. Later, Warner returned to Humboldt County, where he focused heavily on songwriting and performing under his own name while building a reputation as one of the hardest-working musicians on the Northern California live music scene.
Over the years, Warner’s writing and performance style evolved into a blend of acoustic and electric blues, jazz, funk and rock influences that continues to define his live shows today. His long career has included opening performances for national acts such as Greg Allman, Joan Jett, Cheap Trick, Foghat, Foreigner, Tommy Castro, Lydia Pence and Cold Blood and Joe Bonamassa.
Saturday night shifts the focus back to the Stage Bar as Donnie and the Wayrads close out the weekend from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. with four hours of crowd-pleasing classic rock favorites designed to keep the dance floor active late into the night.
Known for energetic, crowd-focused performances, the band specializes in recognizable rock hits that audiences instantly connect with, creating a lively atmosphere where guests can either sing along from their tables or join the party directly on the dance floor.
Their performances are built around audience engagement, authenticity and nonstop energy, creating an environment that feels more like a shared celebration than a traditional concert. From the opening song to the final encore, Donnie and the Wayrads deliver a steady stream of rock favorites spanning decades of classic hits.
All Stage Bar performances at Red Hawk Resort Casino are free with no cover charge, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Beyond the live music lineup, visitors to Red Hawk Resort Casino can also explore the property’s expanding collection of entertainment, gaming and dining offerings throughout the weekend. The Apex remains one of the property’s biggest attractions for families and groups, featuring electric go-kart racing, bowling lanes, arcade games, sports simulators and casual dining options inside the all-ages entertainment complex.
The resort also continues to offer several ongoing gaming promotions for Rewards Club members throughout the month. Saturdays feature the continuing $100,000 Ticket to Treasures Drawings, where qualifying high-limit table game play earns entries into drawings held throughout the evening.
The casino’s $100,000 Blackjack Free Roll Tournament Series also continues on Tuesdays, giving Rewards Club members an opportunity to compete for prize money while additional giveaways and incentives are available for early sign-ups.
Free Play Fridays continue throughout the month as well, allowing guests to earn additional Free Play rewards based on qualifying point totals accumulated during Friday gaming sessions.
Meanwhile, the $1,000,000 Wild Card Giveaway continues every Saturday with drawings taking place at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., while guests can also earn bonus entries through the myRedHawk mobile app.
Saturday visitors can additionally take part in the ongoing Saturday Gifts promotion, where Rewards Club members can earn and redeem complimentary gifts throughout the day using their Rewards Cards at participating kiosks.
